Holy Island and Seahouses

This small, 2-square-mile island is steeped in centuries of religious significance and history.

Accessible only at low tide via a causeway, Lindisfarne remains much as it was when St. Aidan established a monastery here in 635 AD.

Our return journey takes us through the charming coastal village of Seahouses, a gem of the Northumberland Coast.

Durham & Newcastle

Discover the historic city of Durham, nestled in the ‘Land of the Prince Bishops’ and celebrated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Marvel at the majestic Norman-era Cathedral, a masterpiece that commands the skyline, and wander the cobbled streets filled with charming shops and inviting cafés.

Later, return to Newcastle for a leisurely afternoon to explore at your own pace.

Alnwick & Northumbrian Coast

Today, we explore Alnwick, a charming town renowned for its majestic castle and stunning gardens, as well as its delightful streets filled with intriguing shops, including the famous Barter Books, one of Europe’s largest second-hand bookshops.

Afterwards, we embark on a scenic journey along the breathtaking Northumbrian Coast, where expansive sandy beaches, picturesque villages, and awe-inspiring castles make this one of the most stunning coastlines in the country.
