Keswick and Grasmere

Today, we embark on an included excursion to the charming market town of Keswick, nestled on the shores of picturesque Derwentwater.

En route, we stop at Grasmere, the heart of the Lake District, where you can visit the quaint Sarah Nelson Gingerbread Shop, tucked within the grounds of the lovely parish church. Renowned for its secret recipe, this delicious treat is a must-try – and well worth the wait in line!

Day at Leisure, or Penrith and Ullswater

Spend a relaxing day at your leisure or opt for our optional excursion to Penrith, a charming historic market town brimming with cosy pubs, inviting tea rooms, and cobbled lanes lined with unique independent shops.

In the afternoon, we visit Ullswater, the Lake District’s second-largest lake, stretching an impressive 7.5 miles, where you can soak up its breathtaking beauty.

Bowness-on-Windermere, Windermere Cruise and Ambleside

Today, we experience one of the highlights of our tour with a visit to the spectacular Lake Windermere! Our first stop is the charming town of Bowness-on-Windermere, a favourite lakeside destination filled with boutique shops, inviting cafés, and picturesque views along the waterfront.

Next, we board a scenic cruise across the tranquil waters of Lake Windermere, soaking in the breathtaking landscapes as we sail toward Ambleside at the northern tip of the lake. Upon arrival, enjoy some free time to explore Ambleside’s delightful high street before we head back to the hotel.
