Snowdon Mountain Railway

Enjoy an excursion into the stunning Snowdonia National Park, where we board the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Departing from Llanberis station, the train crosses two viaducts, passes majestic waterfalls, and winds through dramatic, rock-strewn landscapes. In early spring, trains ascend to Clogwyn Station, three-quarters of the way to the summit, as snow and ice often block access to the peak.

We also visit Caernarfon, home to Wales’ iconic castle. Stroll through its charming narrow streets and explore the stylishly redeveloped waterfront in this historic town.

Day of Leisure, or Anglesey

Spend a relaxing day in Llandudno, exploring this charming seaside town at your own pace. Take a leisurely stroll along the flat seafront, visit the grand Victorian pier, or ride the tramway or chair lift to the summit of the Great Orme for breathtaking views.

Alternatively, you can join our optional excursion to Anglesey. Cross the Menai Strait to visit Llanfair PG, the village famously known for having the longest name in the UK – a perfect photo opportunity by the iconic railway sign!

A true highlight awaits today as we visit the enchanting Italianate village of Portmeirion, a magical destination filled with vibrant blooms and captivating architecture.

Nestled on its own private peninsula with breathtaking coastal views, Portmeirion offers a delightful blend of formal gardens, exotic plants, and picturesque woodlands to explore. Designed by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1976, the village showcases how natural beauty can be harmoniously enhanced without being spoiled.
