Built in the 19th century, this fairy-tale castle sits dramatically atop a hill. While King Ludwig envisioned the construction of this stunning German Gothic masterpiece, he tragically passed away before its completion.

The castle offers breathtaking panoramic views from every side, making it an unforgettable sight. With its turrets and spires, Neuschwanstein stands as King Ludwig’s most extravagant and imaginative legacy.

Rothenburg

Today, enjoy an included excursion to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a highlight along Germany’s renowned Romantic Road.

Rothenburg is a true gem, enchanting visitors with its well-preserved medieval charm. Step back in time as you explore its historic district, which has remained largely unchanged for centuries.
