Speyer to Strasbourg

This morning, we arrive in the delightful town of Speyer, known for its impressive Romanesque cathedral, medieval synagogue ruins, and fascinating museums, all easily explored on foot.

Consider joining our optional excursion to the Speyer Technical Museum, home to vintage cars, locomotives, and even an original Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet. After lunch onboard, enjoy some free time before we set sail overnight to Strasbourg.

Strasbourg to Basel

This morning, we arrive in the magnificent city of Strasbourg, renowned for its UNESCO World Heritage status. Our mooring is conveniently close to the city center, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace.

Alternatively, join our optional excursion for a scenic cruise along Strasbourg’s picturesque waterways, offering a fresh perspective on its attractions. Lunch is served onboard as we continue our journey to Basel.

Basel to Lucerne to Breisach

This morning, we arrive in Basel, a historic university city. You may opt for a full-day coach excursion to Lucerne, traveling through the Jura Mountains to Switzerland’s scenic heart.

In Lucerne, don’t miss the iconic Chapel Bridge with its striking water tower, one of Switzerland’s most photographed landmarks. Tonight, we sail onward to Breisach.

Breisach to Mannheim

This morning, we arrive in Breisach, where the Black Forest meets the Alsace. Consider joining our optional excursion to explore the charming Alsace region, including a visit to the picturesque village of Riquewihr and a wine tasting at the renowned Dopff & Irion vineyard.

This afternoon, we continue our journey, setting sail for Mannheim.

Mannheim to Mainz

Arriving in Mannheim, consider our optional excursion to Heidelberg, home to Germany’s oldest university and a treasure trove of history. After time to explore, we return to the ship for lunch and sail to Mainz, where the Rhine meets the Main River.

Later this evening, we depart Mainz and begin our journey toward Cologne.

We bid farewell to our captain and crew this morning. We continue to Belgium for an overnight stay,
