Dusseldorf to Koblenz

 

This morning, we arrive in Düsseldorf, known for its fashion industry and vibrant art scene. Explore the mix of modern architecture and historic buildings, and consider joining our optional guided tour to experience the city’s highlights. Alternatively, enjoy some retail therapy at the popular Konigsallee shopping district.

 

After lunch onboard, we set sail for Koblenz, enjoying the afternoon and overnight journey.

Koblenz to Rudesheim

 

We arrive in historic Koblenz, one of Germany’s oldest and most charming cities! This morning, you can join our optional excursion to visit the elegant Sayn Palace and its peaceful butterfly garden.

 

After lunch onboard, we set sail towards the quaint town of Rüdesheim, arriving later this evening.

Half Day

Rudesheim to Traben-Trarbach

 

Spend the morning at your leisure in Rüdesheim.

 

Alternatively, join our optional excursion to explore the fascinating Siegfried’s Mechanical Museum, followed by a thrilling cable car ride with stunning views of the Rhine Valley.

 

After lunch onboard, we set sail overnight towards Traben-Trarbach.

Full Day

Traben-Trarbach to Trier

 

At the turn of the twentieth century, Traben-Trarbach became a key hub in the global wine trade. Once the only town in the Moselle Valley, it was also one of the world’s top wine producers. To meet the growing demand for wine cellars, the town ingeniously constructed expansive cellars beneath its streets.

 

Join our optional excursion this morning for a subterranean adventure. Explore one of these historic vaults on a guided tour, complete with a glass of wine!

 

Afterward, we return to the ship for lunch and continue our journey towards Trier, arriving later this evening.

Trier to Cochem

 

This morning, enjoy some free time to explore Trier, one of Germany’s oldest cities, with its rich Roman history.

Later, we return to the ship for lunch before setting sail for Cochem.

Cochem to Cologne

 

This morning, we arrive in Cochem, a charming town nestled in the scenic Moselle Valley. Dominated by the 11th-century Reichsburg Castle, the castle offers breathtaking panoramic views from its hilltop perch. You can join our optional guided tour to explore its newly restored neo-Gothic architecture.

 

After lunch, we set sail for Cologne.

Day 9

Cologne to Belgium

 

This morning, we bid farewell to our captain and crew. After disembarking in Cologne, you’ll have time to enjoy some last-minute shopping and sightseeing before we head to our overnight hotel.
