Today, we head to Whitby, one of North Yorkshire’s gems, where you’ll have free time to explore its cobbled streets and unique shops.

Enjoy a delicious fish and chips lunch, visit the famous Whitby Abbey ruins, and take in the views along the harbour walls before returning to the hotel to relax before dinner.

Castle Howard

Today, we visit the magnificent Castle Howard, set in a thousand acres of parkland.

Built in 1699 and taking over 100 years to complete, the house was partially destroyed by fire in 1940 but has since been beautifully restored, with stunning gardens and grounds to explore, including a walled garden, temples, and woodland. The estate is also known as a filming location for popular TV shows and films like Bridgerton, Young Victoria, and Brideshead Revisited.

York

Today, we explore the historic city of York, where over 2,000 years of history unfold, influenced by the Romans and Vikings. Stroll through the iconic Shambles, browse independent shops, visit the stunning cathedral, or enjoy a peaceful walk along the river.
