Clovelly is a village like no other, perched on a 400-foot cliffside and renowned for its traffic-free streets.

Here, donkeys and sledges help locals navigate the steep, cobbled paths leading down to the harbour. On your return journey, why not pause at one of the cosy pubs for some local seafood or enjoy a traditional Devonshire cream tea at one of the charming cafés?

We then head to the charming town of Bideford, once Britain’s third-largest port. Today, it’s known for its lively shopping scene, historic Pannier Market, the popular Atlantic Shopping Village, and quirky shops lining the streets.

Enjoy an excursion to Arlington Court, a National Trust property.  This Grade II listed Regency house, owned by the Chichester family for over 500 years, features a charming carriage museum and beautiful gardens. The Carriage Museum, housed in the stables, showcases a range of vehicles, from elegant coaches used for state occasions to humble carts that would have carried servants.
