Poole and Vintage Cruise* with Cream Tea

We begin our day in Poole, where the historic quayside welcomes tall ships, fishing boats, and luxury yachts. Stroll through charming streets and seaside shops before boarding the vintage Dorset Queen for a scenic cruise.

As we sail past Millionaires Row, Brownsea Castle, and Poole Harbour’s five islands, live commentary ensures you catch every highlight. Weather permitting, we’ll venture beyond the harbour to admire Old Harry Rocks and the start of the UNESCO-listed Jurassic Coast—all while enjoying a delicious cream tea on board.

* The onboard crew will assist with embarking and are able to carry walkers/chairs onto the vessel. There is a gangway (approx. 2m long) that customers must be able to walk along to board the cruise.

Day of Leisure, or Dorchester

Spend a relaxing day at leisure in Bournemouth—unwind at the hotel, explore the town, or take a scenic stroll along the seafront.

Alternatively, join our optional excursion to historic Dorchester, the birthplace of Thomas Hardy, where you can explore riverside walks, a Roman amphitheatre, eight fascinating museums, and a variety of shops and cafés.

Salisbury and The New Forest

Explore the medieval city of Salisbury, home to historic buildings and the magnificent cathedral with Britain’s tallest spire. The cathedral, dating back to 1227, is home to one of the best-preserved Magna Carta documents (entrance not included).

The city is easy to explore, with a charming market square and traditional shopping streets. In the afternoon, we return to Bournemouth, passing through the peaceful New Forest National Park.
