The Esplanade Hotel, Newquay

From the 4-star Esplanade Hotel, overlooking Fistral Beach in Newquay, we explore Cornwall’s stunning coastal towns, including St Ives, Penzance, and Falmouth. Indulge in local delicacies with a fish and chips lunch at Rick Stein’s in Padstow, a Cornish cream tea at a cider farm, and a visit to the charming village of Port Isaac—this is one holiday you won’t want to miss!
Local departure by coach, then to Newquay and the 4-star Esplanade Hotel for a four-night stay.
After breakfast, we head to the charming St Ives, renowned for its beautiful beaches and cobbled streets that lead to a picture-perfect harbour—it’s no surprise it’s one of Cornwall’s top destinations.
Next, we visit the historic town of Penzance, famous for its pirates (or at least the singing ones!), before exploring the Wharfside Shopping Centre and its mix of high street brands and local shops.
The day concludes with a visit to Healeys Cyder Farm, where you can indulge in a traditional Cornish cream tea and explore the farm shop for local produce.
Today, we begin with a morning visit to Falmouth, a town deeply influenced by its maritime heritage. Within walking distance from the hotel, we’ll explore the fascinating National Maritime Museum, where you can delve into Cornwall’s rich history through a range of exhibitions and enjoy stunning views of the harbour.
After some free time to wander the shops or enjoy a tea room, return to the hotel to relax with panoramic sea views from the terrace lounge, or take the chance to explore more of Newquay at your leisure.
Today, we head to the picturesque Cornish town of Padstow, a beautiful fishing port surrounded by stunning beaches and renowned for its food scene, especially thanks to Rick Stein.
After enjoying a traditional fish and chips lunch at his restaurant, we continue to Port Isaac, famous for its role in the TV series Doc Martin. This charming harbour village, with its whitewashed cottages and narrow streets, offers a relaxing afternoon to explore before we return to Newquay.
