Lewes and Brighton

Explore the vibrant seaside resort of Brighton, where Regency elegance meets a lively atmosphere. Once a favourite retreat of George IV, Brighton continues to charm visitors with its blend of heritage and coastal fun.

From here, we journey to medieval Lewes, a picturesque town nestled in the South Downs. Wander its quaint alleyways, admire historic churches, and soak up the timeless charm of this beautifully preserved market town.

Day at Leisure, or Alfriston and Beachy Head

Enjoy a leisurely day in Eastbourne, taking in the fresh sea air, award-winning beaches, and charming Victorian pier.

Alternatively, join our optional excursion to the picturesque village of Alfriston. Nestled along the Cuckmere River, this historic village boasts a medieval high street, the fascinating Clergy House, and the impressive St Andrew’s Church.

On our journey, we’ll also pass the breathtaking Beachy Head, home to the highest chalk cliffs in Britain, offering spectacular coastal views.

Hastings and Rye

Enjoy an excursion to historic Hastings, where traditional seaside attractions meet fascinating heritage. Beneath the ruins of its ancient castle, which has overlooked the town for nearly 1,000 years, you’ll find plenty to explore along the charming seafront.

We then visit the picturesque town of Rye, once a medieval citadel and now a haven for art, unique curiosities, and cosy pubs, offering a delightful glimpse into the past.
