Giant’s Causeway and Derry
Today, we journey along the scenic Antrim Coast to the iconic Giant’s Causeway, a natural wonder shrouded in legend, where it’s said that the giant Finn McCool created the remarkable formations. At the interpretation centre, an audio-visual show explains the geological history and myths behind these “steps.”
Next, we head to Derry, Northern Ireland’s second city, known for its rich history and vibrant peace efforts. As Ireland’s only completely walled city, Derry has over 1,450 years of history, and from the walls, you’ll see murals depicting key moments in the city’s more recent past.
We then continue to County Donegal for our overnight stay.
Day 4
Donegal and Slieve League Cliffs
Discover County Donegal, Ireland’s northernmost county, often referred to as ‘Ireland’s Alaska’ for its rugged beauty and diverse landscapes, including dark, towering mountains.
We’ll visit the Slieve League Cliffs, some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, where you can experience a dramatic 609-meter (1,998 ft) drop into the swirling Atlantic Ocean below.
We then continue to our overnight stay in the County Mayo area.
Day 5
Connemara, Killary Fjord Cruise and Galway
This morning, we tour the scenic Connemara region in County Galway, known for its patchwork landscapes of green fields, stone walls, thatched cottages, and charming fishing ports.
We then travel along the shores of Killary Fjord, which separates County Galway and County Mayo, before embarking on a cruise to experience the fjord’s beauty from the water, complete with lunch on board.
Back on land, we continue to Galway for a walking tour of this lively city, followed by free time to explore.
We then head to our hotel in the Galway area for a two-night stay.
Day 6
Aran Islands
Today, we travel to Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands, home to around 800 residents who primarily speak Irish. The island is rich in scenic beauty and historical monuments, including Dun Aonghasa, an Iron Age fort dramatically situated on a 100-meter-high cliff. Inishmore’s rugged landscape, filled with diverse flora and fauna, offers a unique and stunning experience for visitors.
Day 7
Burren and Cliffs of Moher
A day of stunning scenery awaits! We begin by traveling through the unique landscape of the Burren, before arriving at the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland’s most iconic cliffs. Plunging steeply into the ocean, they’re home to hundreds of seabirds, with views of the Aran Islands and, on clear days, the Connemara mountains in the distance.
We then continue to County Kerry for a three-night stay, where we’ll also enjoy a traditional Irish show of music and dance.
Day 8
Dingle Peninsula
Today, we explore the stunning Dingle Peninsula, famous for its scenic coastal road offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The route takes us past beautiful beaches like Inch, the lively fishing port of Dingle, and the dramatic headland of Slea Head, the westernmost point of Europe.
Day 9
Ring of Kerry, Sneem and Traditional Sheep Dog Demonstration
A true highlight of our trip, the Ring of Kerry offers breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean, where the rugged coastline meets lush, diverse vegetation nourished by the Gulf Stream.

We then continue to our overnight stay in the Cork area.
Day 11
Rock of Cashel
Enjoy some free time in Cork to explore at your own pace, before we visit the Rock of Cashel, one of Ireland’s most stunning landmarks. With its well-preserved ecclesiastical ruins, the Rock rises dramatically above the surrounding plain and has historically dominated the land route southward.
We then continue to our overnight stay in the County Wicklow area.
Day 12
County Wicklow
This morning, we journey through the scenic County Wicklow, stopping in Avoca, famously known for ‘Ballykissangel’. In Avoca, you can visit the Lion Bridge, where the Avonmore and Avonbeg rivers meet, offering the view that inspired poet Tom Moore’s famous song, ‘The Meeting of the Waters’.
