Once hailed as the most picturesque route to Scotland, this iconic line will take you over the stunning Ribblehead Viaduct and through the longest tunnel at Blea Moor, offering views that have captivated travellers for over a century.

Cream Tea at Blackpool Tower Ballroom
Step into a bygone era and indulge in a delicious cream tea at the exquisite Blackpool Tower Ballroom. A true icon of the 19th century, marvel at the intricately designed ceiling, sparkling chandeliers, spring-loaded dance floor, and ornate balconies. Dance to the tunes of the famous Wurlitzer Organ or simply relax and soak in the enchanting ambiance of this remarkable venue, where history and charm come alive.
Day 4
The Lake District
Our included excursion today takes us to the beautiful Lake District. The spectacular landscapes have inspired so many writers and poets, and we’ll start the day in Bowness-on-Windermere – one of the region’s most popular destinations. The village lies on the shores of Lake Windermere and is filled with charming shops and quaint tearooms.
We continue to bustling Ambleside at the head of the lake, where there will be free time before we make our way to the pretty village of Grasmere.
Situated at the very heart of the Lake District, this charming village is famous for its literary connections and is home to the tiny Sarah Nelson’s Grasmere Gingerbread Shop, which lies in the grounds of the parish church.
