Visit medieval Chester, a city steeped in history, where Roman legionnaires once marched, Viking raiders left their mark, and Norman invaders reshaped the landscape.

Discover its fascinating sights, from the Roman Amphitheatre and ancient city walls to the magnificent cathedral. With the oldest racecourse, the most complete city walls, and the unique 700-year-old shopping ‘Rows’ filled with boutiques and restaurants, there’s plenty to explore.

Southport and Ormskirk Market

Today, we visit the charming Lancashire town of Ormskirk, home to one of England’s oldest street markets, dating back to 1286. Browse around 100 stalls offering food, clothes, books, gifts, and crafts in the bustling town centre.

Later, we head to the seaside town of Southport, where Victorian elegance lingers in the galleries along Lord Street—don’t miss the stunning views from the historic pier!
