Today, we embark on a scenic journey aboard the South Devon Railway, a beloved attraction running through the picturesque River Dart valley between Totnes and Buckfastleigh.

Afterward, we visit Buckfast Abbey, nestled in Dartmoor National Park and home to a community of Roman Catholic Benedictine monks.

Today, we visit the historic city of Exeter, set on the River Exe and renowned for its magnificent cathedral, ancient Roman wall, and picturesque Quayside.

The award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the city’s 2,000-year history, and for November and December departures, Exeter’s magical Christmas Market adds a festive touch.

Exmouth and Stuart Line Cruise

Today, we explore Exmouth, one of Devon’s oldest and most picturesque seaside towns, known as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast with its two miles of sandy beach.

For summer departures, we’ll set sail with Stuart Line Cruises to admire England’s only natural UNESCO World Heritage Site from the water, gliding past 185 million years of geological history.

In winter, we’ll enjoy a festive cruise along the tranquil River Exe aboard a decorated, heated boat, complete with cosy blankets, mulled wine, and a warm mince pie as we take in the scenic views.
