This morning, we visit the charming twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, nestled along the dramatic Exmoor coastline. Lynmouth’s bustling harbour sits below Lynton’s clifftop setting, offering breathtaking views, with the two connected by the historic Cliff Railway, the world’s highest and steepest fully water-powered Victorian railway (extra charges apply).

In the afternoon, unwind in the elegant surroundings of the Park Hotel. Why not sip a cocktail on the sun terrace overlooking the beautiful Rock Park?

Clovelly

Clovelly is a truly unique village, clinging to a 400-foot cliffside and free from vehicles, where donkeys and sledges help locals navigate the steep cobbled streets.

Stroll down to the picturesque harbour, enjoy the stunning coastal views, and perhaps stop for fresh seafood or a traditional cream tea before heading back up—either on foot or by Land Rover (extra charges apply, subject to availability).
