We’ll pass through Freshwater Bay on the south coast, visit the lively town of Yarmouth with its picturesque natural harbour, and explore Alum Bay, known for its vibrant multi-coloured sands and the iconic ‘Needles’, one of the world’s most photographed rock formations.

Day at Leisure or Cowes

Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure in Shanklin, a charming seaside resort on the south-east coast of the Isle of Wight. Explore the town’s rich history or take in the stunning views of Shanklin Chine, a beautiful geological feature.

Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Cowes, renowned worldwide for its sailing heritage and maritime history. Stroll along the High Street, Parade, and Esplanade, offering breathtaking views of the busy harbour and The Solent, or visit the Cowes Maritime Museum and Sir Max Aitken Museum to learn more about the town’s nautical past. Cowes is also a food lover’s paradise, with a wide selection of pubs, restaurants, and cafes.

Today, enjoy a nostalgic ride on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, taking in the island’s unspoilt countryside and picturesque villages from beautifully restored carriages. Relax as you watch the stunning scenery unfold before you.

Next, we visit the idyllic village of Godshill, famous for its charming thatched cottages and the quaint church at its heart, creating a picture-perfect setting.
