Day 1

Depart locally by coach, then board the ferry to the Isle of Man. From there, we continue to our hotel in Ramsey, where we will stay for four nights.

Laxey & Douglas

 

Embark on a scenic journey along the coast from Laxey to Douglas, the Isle of Man’s capital since 1869 and the heart of its commercial and legislative life. Admire the sweeping curve of Douglas Bay, framed by lush green hills, and enjoy exploring the town’s vibrant center, with its variety of shops and charming cafés.

 

On the return journey, travel beneath the imposing peak of Snaefell Mountain, the island’s tallest summit and the only point exceeding 2,000 feet, offering a striking view of the island’s natural beauty.

Day at Leisure or Peel

 

Take a relaxing day at leisure in Ramsey, the Isle of Man’s second-largest town, known for its charming shops, cafés, and a variety of tourist and leisure attractions.

 

Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Peel, a historic town steeped in the island’s Celtic, Viking, and maritime heritage. Sample the world-famous Manx Kippers, savor some of the finest ice cream on the island, or explore the impressive ruins of Peel Castle—the choice is entirely yours!

Day 4

Full Day

Southern Heritage Tour

 

Today, we embark on a heritage-rich tour of the southern Isle of Man. Our journey begins in Castletown, the island’s ancient capital, brimming with history and charm.

 

Next, we visit the Cregneash Village Folk Museum, a unique living museum that offers a glimpse into traditional Manx life with its preserved cottages and period exhibits.

 

We round off the day by taking in the breathtaking views of the Calf of Man, a small islet renowned for its dramatic scenery and as a sanctuary for around 33 species of seabirds.

Day 5

Today, we board the ferry for our journey back to the mainland, followed by our return home.
