Regional departure by coach, then to Holyhead for the ferry to Ireland, and onward to our overnight hotel.
After breakfast, we depart our hotel and travel south to Cork, Ireland’s second-largest city. Nestled along the River Lee, Cork boasts stunning sights, including the magnificent Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral, designed by Victorian architect William Burges in the 1800s.
Enjoy free time to explore Cork at your leisure before we make our way to Blarney, home to the famous castle (entrance not included). Built in the 15th and 16th centuries, the castle is renowned for the legendary Blarney Stone, believed to bestow the gift of eloquence upon those who kiss it. Once requiring visitors to be dangled by their ankles, the tradition now involves leaning backward from the parapet walk to reach the stone.
From Blarney, we continue to our hotel in West Cork for a three-night stay.
Today, we embark on a scenic excursion through the breathtaking Beara Peninsula, once a haven for smugglers.
After breakfast, we set off on a picturesque drive around Ireland’s third great coastal ‘ring,’ following Kerry and Dingle. Along the way, we stop at the charming fishing port of Castletownbere on the peninsula’s southern coast.
Our journey continues to Glengarriff, where you may opt for a boat trip to the stunning Garnish Island (additional cost payable locally), renowned for its exquisite gardens and Italian-inspired landscaping.
Today’s excursion showcases the stunning landscapes and charming fishing villages along part of the Ring of Kerry, also known as the Iveragh Peninsula, renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty.
During the day, we visit Killarney, where you’ll have the chance to take an optional jaunting car ride. The Tangney family, who have run their jaunting business for over 220 years, will warmly welcome you aboard their traditional pony and trap for a memorable tour of the area.

We journey back across Ireland to Dublin, where you can join an optional sightseeing tour of this vibrant city. Our expert guide will showcase key landmarks, including Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the National Art Gallery, and the Four Courts.
Afterward, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace before we continue to our overnight hotel on the outskirts of the city.
