Regional departure by coach, then to Holyhead for the ferry to Ireland, and onward to our overnight hotel.
We travel across Ireland to County Mayo, where we settle in at the Westport Woods Hotel, located on the outskirts of Westport.
This afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the town’s charming shops, cosy cafés, and diverse restaurants at your own pace.
Take in the stunning landscapes as we journey around Clew Bay to the picturesque Achill Island, where dramatic mountains and vast peat bogs contrast beautifully with pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters.
On our return, we stop in the traditional Irish town of Castlebar, where you’ll have free time to explore. You may also choose to visit the National Museum of Country Life, which offers a fascinating insight into Irish life between 1850 and 1950.
We journey into County Galway to explore the wild beauty of Connemara National Park, where shimmering loughs, majestic mountains, and rugged coastlines create a breathtaking landscape.
Our visit includes Kylemore Abbey, a stunning Benedictine monastery featuring picturesque walled gardens, a Gothic chapel, and a rich, fascinating history.
We bid farewell to Ireland’s wild west and travel east to Dublin. Enjoy some free time to explore the capital at your own pace or join our optional guided city tour.
Later, we continue to our overnight hotel on the outskirts of the city.
